About The Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking for an exciting opportunity in London? Look no further! Here at the award-winning, thriving Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery, we are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our incredible team as a Veterinary Receptionist.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients. You'll be the friendly face and the first person our clients see when they walk through our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good fuss! You'll assist them with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general support.
Your day at Streatham Hill could include:
1. Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
2. Booking appointments and managing arrivals on the RX Works diary
3. Promoting our Healthcare Plan to ensure pets receive premium discounted preventative treatment
4. Booking follow-up appointments after initial consultations
5. Assisting the Vet and Nurse team with queries
6. Scanning paperwork onto pets' digital records
7. Liaising with clients regarding appointment bookings and medication collection
8. Ordering food and medication
9. Processing payments immediately after pet treatments
10. Handling 0% finance applications for clients wishing to spread the cost of larger procedures
11. Managing a busy reception desk efficiently and professionally, including responding to emails and social media messages
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with a mix of shifts between 7:30am-8pm, including 1 in 4 weekends. You will also be required to work some bank holidays annually.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the veterinary industry
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
* Proficiency in computer systems and software; experience using RxWorks is a significant advantage
