About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Contract Mechanical Engineer to support immediate project needs. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong mechanical background, with a focus on testing, design iteration, and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct mechanical, stress, load, and acceleration testing
Perform design changes and updates using SolidWorks
Write clear, concise, and technically sound reports
Apply principles of Design of Experiments (DoE) to testing and validation
Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and solve engineering challengesRequired Skills & Experience
10-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Experience with mechanical testing methodologies
Ability to write detailed technical reports
Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
