Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated care assistant to join our multiple award-winning team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others, making a positive impact on the lives of those in your care.
Duties
* Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
* Engage with residents through conversation and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Drive to clients' homes as required for home care services, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently.
