Technical Assessor - Waste Management & Environmental Solutions
Location: OxfordSalary: £30,000 - £34,000 (DOE)

Due to continued growth and investment in specialist treatment and recycling capabilities, they are seeking a Technical Assessor to join their expert team in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities
* Review and classify hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams using chemical data, site information, and current legislation (e.g., EWC/LoW codes).
* Assess analytical results, waste profiles, SDS documentation, and risk assessments to determine compliant treatment or disposal routes.
* Ensure assessments align with Environmental Permitting Regulations, ADR, CLP, and other applicable UK/EU frameworks.
* Produce clear technical reports, waste acceptance documentation, and client-facing recommendations.
* Liaise with laboratory, operations, transport, and compliance teams to approve and manage waste movements.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high technical and quality standards.
About You
* Degree qualified (Or HNC) in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (essential).
* Previous experience within a UK waste management or environmental services business.
* Strong understanding of hazardous waste classification and compliance processes.
* Commercially aware with excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Full right to live and work in the UK.
