Thornbury Medical Centre looking for an experiencedPractice Nurse to Lead our nursing team and join our vibrant and friendlyPractice.

Main duties of the job
The Lead Practice Nurse will be responsible for themanagement of the practice nursing team, consisting of nurses and HCA.
They will be responsible for several clinical areassuch as infection prevention and control, chronic disease management, healthpromotion, as well as supporting the practice management team in the reviewingand delivery of clinical policy and procedure.
About us
We are an average sized practice with just over 7,000 patients. GPs, Advanced ClinicalPractitioner, Pharmacist, HCA and Physician Associate and other healthprofessionals.
We have an admin and reception team that supports the clinicalteam and patients.
Weare part of Bradford PCN 5 care network and work closely with our neighbouringpractices.

1. Leading the team to meet patient needs including QoF outcomes and other local priorities.
2. Work with our Patient Support team to ensure the recall system reviews patients with the right people at the right time.
3. Be the voice of the nurse team within practice management.
4. Support and mentor the professional development of your colleagues
5. Manage the Nurse Team - arranging rotas and cover.
