Job Title: Class 1 Driver
Location: Palletforce Logistics Kent, 9 Bilton Road, Erith, DA8 2AN
Salary:£37200 plus £50 weekly bonus

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Use of a handheld terminal to record accurate information;
2. Occasionally driving class 2 and 3.5t vehicles during peak periods;
3. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle;
4. Driving Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly;
5. Ensure you do your daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use;
6. Ensure you inform the transport office of any problems in good time i.e. if you’re running late;
7. Fit to drive; considering alcohol intake, daily rest, prescribed/over the counter medication that could affect your ability to drive;
8. To ensure you arrive at your job on time;
9. Excellent customer service;
10. Maintain health and safety standards;
11. Operating in a safe way, following all road rules;
12. Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to the transport office;
13. Delivering goods to various locations.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Qualifications. Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card. HGV/LGC Class licence with 12 months experience.
Experience. Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
