We're looking for an experienced, people‑focused leader to step into the role of Deputy Head of Transactions, supporting the development, performance and strategic direction of several high‑performing transactional teams. About the Role As the International BSC Deputy Head of Transactions, you will play a key role in developing and implementing departmental strategies, driving efficiency, and ensuring outstanding service delivery for multiple in‑scope countries. Acting as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, you will ensure service quality, alignment with local requirements, and continuous improvement across all end‑to‑end processes. Key Accountabilities Strategic Leadership Implement departmental strategies in collaboration with the Head of Transactions. Ensure alignment with local country requirements, global best practice, and BSC strategic objectives. Customer Relationship Management Build strong, collaborative relationships with middle and senior management in allocated countries. Understand local challenges and proactively propose solutions that align with BSC standards. Serve as a single point of contact for escalations, coordinating cross‑functional resources to ensure fast, accurate resolutions. Continuous Improvement Bring deep knowledge of systems and end‑to‑end processes to drive innovation. Partner with BSC experts to define and deliver best practice across the centre. Prioritise, approve, and project‑manage improvement initiatives to completion. Lead effective communication and change management across both the BSC and local countries. Budget & FTE Management Analyse KPIs and operational data to balance service delivery, quality, and cost. Encourage cross‑skilling and flexible resource allocation. Manage departmental budgets and FTE levels, producing robust business cases where additional resources are required. Ensure that efficiencies achieved through improvements are reflected in actual resource and cost profiles. People Leadership Support the Transactions Manager in attracting, developing, and retaining a skilled workforce. Mentor and coach leaders at all levels, fostering a high‑performance, engaged team culture. Accountabilities Responsibility for a department of up to c.50 FTE CRM responsibility for 2-5 countries, depending on size and complexity Qualifications & Experience Proven experience managing large teams (20) within Accounts Payable or similar transactional environments Strong background in working with internal and external customers and suppliers Demonstrable leadership, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills A passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement Why Join us?
