About the Role
Do you want to kick-start your career in business? Do you want to earn while you learn? At NHS Professionals, we are looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to join our Executive Assistant (EA) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience whilst studying towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. This apprenticeship has a duration of up to 18 months, leading to a Level 3 Qualification in Business Administration. Formal learning will be delivered via a selected national apprenticeship provider, supporting learners through their training with industry‑leading programmes. Your assigned tutor will deliver a blend of high‑quality remote and face‑to‑face learning to provide all the resources you need to progress. You will also have access to an intuitive learner management system with interactive learning tools, complementary online resources, and relevant social communities. Location
Manchester (Hybrid working available – to be discussed at interview stage)
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the CEO office, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
* Assist with diary management, including scheduling meetings, coordinating availability, and organising logistics (rooms, virtual links, materials)
* Prepare and format documents, presentations, and meeting packs to a professional standard
* Support the coordination of meetings, including agenda preparation and basic minute‑taking where required
* Process expenses and support invoice tracking in line with company procedures
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records, contact lists, and shared administrative systems
* Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth coordination of activities
* Provide administrative support to the wider EA team when CEO Office priorities are complete
* Support general office and team coordination tasks when required, contributing to the smooth running of the EA function
* Actively develop administrative, organisation, and professional skills through the apprenticeship programme

Salary
1st year: £15,650.00 (national apprenticeship wage)
Second year:
Ages 18‑21: £21,220
Ages 21 and over: £24,860.00
Interview Process
We will be holding an Interview Day on 17th June at our approved co‑working office in the centre of Manchester, so please ensure you are available to attend. Further details will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including English and Maths
* Be 18 or over at the time of joining
* Not currently in full‑time education
* Have some experience in a customer‑focused or office environment, but full training will be provided
* Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
* Strong communication skills
* A professional and positive attitude to learning
