Be among the first 25 applicants. We are currently looking for highly organised, friendly members of staff to support our Out of Hours Public Dental Service Team. We have vacant posts for 10 hours, equating to 2 x 5-hour shifts per month. You will assist in the smooth delivery of care to patients residing within Forth Valley. Shifts require working within a team of Dentists and qualified Dental Nurses, providing surgery and administrative duties expected of a qualified Dental Nurse. The OOH service operates at weekends and Public Holidays and is located within Falkirk Community Hospital. The hours of work are 09:30 – 14:30 on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Shifts are allocated on an ad hoc basis depending on availability. A full induction and identified training requirements will be tailored to meet your needs within this role.
Responsibilities
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to support the delivery of dental care in an Out of Hours service, working with Dentists and Dental Nurses, and performing surgery and administrative duties as a qualified Dental Nurse.
Qualifications and experience
* Qualified Registered Dental Nurse (National Examination Board for Dental Nurses Certificate or equivalent SVQ level 3 in Oral Health Care)
* At least 12 months experience of working in a General Dental Practice
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Current competence in BLS
* Excellent communication skills
* Team Player
* Good IT skills
