Steelwork Detailer – Exciting Opportunity with a Specialist Steel Contractor

A leading specialist contractor with in-house steelwork capability is seeking an experienced Steelwork Detailer to join their growing technical team. This hands-on role involves working on complex structural steel and temporary works packages, where your detailed drawings will directly inform what gets fabricated and built.

The Role

As a Steelwork Detailer, you will:

* Produce detailed fabrication and erection drawings using Tekla Structures
* Accurately model steelwork assemblies, connections, and components to suit fabrication and site conditions
* Generate GA drawings, material lists, bolt lists, and CNC files
* Liaise closely with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve design and detailing queries
* Apply a buildability-focused approach to all outputs, ensuring accuracy and practicality
* Ensure models and drawings comply with relevant codes, client standards, and internal QA procedures

The Ideal Candidate

1. Proven steelwork detailing experience
