Overview
All Square Recruitment is recruiting Assembly Operatives with a focus on sheet metal work. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment with clear progression paths in a supportive, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal fabrication diagrams.
- Working to precise specifications to ensure high-quality output.
- Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to optimise production processes.
- Manual handling, which may involve some heavy lifting.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Participating in full training and induction programs.
What We're Looking For
- We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience in an assembly/production role.
- Confidence and proficiency in using tools and machinery (e.g., brakes, shears, drills, grinders).
- The ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.
Shift Details
- Assembly Operative - Late Shift Details
- Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday overtime available – Up to £19.19 per hour!)
- 13:45 till 22:00 / 1:45pm till 10pm
