Personal Assistant required for an 8-year-old girl who lives in Bude. She has Autism and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support. She would like someone to support her with her communication. She loves being outdoors and enjoys water/ sensory play. A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community with her family. Good rate of pay £14.00 per hour. Up to 5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Weekend and school holiday availability will be required. Car driver preferred but not essential. Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential. The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family.
