Hours: Monday–Friday 9am–5pm. Hybrid working arrangements available.
Salary: £37,500 - £43,000 + £2,000 after one year + ongoing bonus of up to 10%.
Responsibilities
* Assess individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
* Take medical history and perform physical examinations based on clinical expertise.
* Produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine eligibility for benefits.
* Conduct assessments face-to-face, via telephone, or via video; maintain sensitivity, compassion, and best-practice standards.
* Work unsupervised while collaborating as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
* Receive support from specialist sjb medical recruiters during the submission process after you apply.
About You
* NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with at least 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
* Experience working with adults in Surgical, Medical, A&E, Community, and Practice Nursing settings with a broad-based background.
* NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and adapt to a changing environment.
* IT skills and experience with a range of software.
* Self-aware, focused on professional development, and able to maintain integrity and patient confidentiality.
* Motivated to contribute to quality customer service with empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
* Ability to work on your own initiative to meet deadlines and standards; willing to support the multi-disciplinary team.
* Eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
