We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at an elderly nursing home located in Mansfield, UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and leading a team, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality care is provided to all residents
* Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
* Create and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall functioning of the nursing home
* Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and efficiency
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards of care and service delivery
* Handle any complaints or concerns from residents and their families in a timely and effective manner
* Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to continuously improve the nursing home's services.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or NVQ Level 5 in Care
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role within a healthcare setting
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
* Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and resources
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
