We are recruiting for a HGV Drainage Engineer to join our well established survey company in the South East.
The main purpose of this role is to operate a combination jetting vactor unit visiting various client sites to conduct drainage works to assist our CCTV crews.
In return, we offer a basic salary up to £40,000 per annum, based on your experience.
Flexibility is key to success in this role, as you will need to accommodate nights and early morning starts and occasional overnight stays away from home and weekend works. We will pay for your accommodation expenses during these trips and provide you with a budget for meals.
Key duties:
* Operating a HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned survey works.
* Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to the best condition.
* Vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
* Adhering to all health and safety policies at all times, following safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation
* Supporting the CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works.
* Liaising with service companies on planned vehicle and plant maintenance.
The ideal candidate:
* At least 2 years experience in the drainage industry.
* Class 2 license minimum.
* Problem solving and attention to detail is a must
