M4 Recruitment is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team for a leading Manufacturer and supplier of commercial outdoor furniture and structures for the hospitality and leisure industries.
As an HGV Class 2 Driver your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient delivery and collection of our high-quality outdoor furniture and structures to clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for deliveries and collections.
Transport a range of outdoor furniture, awnings, parasols, and structures to client sites.
Assist with the careful loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are secured appropriately for transit (manual handling will be involved).
Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, vehicle checks, and tachograph records accurately.
Be flexible to work occasional overtime as required to meet business demands.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, Taco and CPC.
Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 driver, ideally with experience in delivering fragile or valuable goods.
No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (for insurance purposes).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
A proactive, punctual, and customer-focused approach.
