As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a child with Autism who is non-verbal. Job Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant for a child with Autism who is non-verbal. Implement strategies to support communication and social development. Assist the class teacher in creating tailored learning activities. Monitor and record the child&x2019;s progress as an SEN Teaching Assistant. Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support. Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment as an SEN Teaching Assistant. Qualifications/Experience Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable. Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service. Right to work in the UK. Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach. Ability to work as part of a team and independently as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
