About the Role We are seeking a motivated, student-focused professional with strong Electrical Installations industry experience to join our Construction Department.
In this role, you will:
Design and deliver engaging Electrical Installations teaching across a range of levels
Teach both practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum
Provide high-quality tutorial support to learners
Contribute to curriculum development and the ongoing growth of the department
Complete associated administrative tasks to support teaching, learning, and assessment

This teaching role and course is eligible for levelling up premium payments you could qualify to receive an extra payment of up to £6,000 per year, after tax. This payment is separate from teachers pay.
You can claim your payment if you are in your first 5 years of teaching in FE, teach at least 2.5 hours per week and meet the full eligibility criteria.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant and up-to-date industry experience within the Electrical Installations or wider Construction sector
Strong subject knowledge and a minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Electrical Installations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners
Teaching qualifications are welcomed but not always essentialwhat matters most is your industry expertise and your commitment to helping learners succeed.
