Position: Sales Professional - Packaging Location: Midlands (Hybrid Work) Salary: £45,000 DOE Commission, Car allowance, Comprehensive Benefits Package The Company: A leading UK paper based packaging company, specialising in high-quality Litho Laminated Boxes and straight-to-box flexo packaging solutions, including both inserts and boxes are now strategically diversifying their client base and wish to place a keen focus on the dynamic food and beverage industry. This expansion is supported by continuous investment in improving their operating premises and new machinery to support growing needs and new industries, alongside a unique stock-and-serve model that builds strong client partnerships. The Role: * Sales Professional with expertise in paper and cardboard packaging, specifically fluted and non-fluted boxes and inserts * This pivotal role involves being the sales lead for new business development * Your key objective will be to aggressively expand and diversify their client base * Focusing on Litho Box Laminate as a strategic expansion area * Establish a direct sales approach for the Food & Beverage sector, driving new client acquisition * Work closely with the team to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction * Balancing client needs with company profitability Requirements: * 4 years of sales experience in paper/cardboard packaging, with a strong focus or desire to excel in the Food & Beverage industry * Proven track record in building sales pipelines or establishing new sales functions * Deep technical knowledge of E, B, EB, C flutes, other corrugated/folding carton solutions, and packaging inserts * Firm understanding of packaging print technologies, specifically laminated (bonded) Litho Box Lamination and straight-to-box flexo printing * Familiarity with UK food & beverage packaging regulations and industry demands * Familiarity and experience in tender writing would be a distinct advantage * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and value-based selling skills * Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and autonomous * Proficiency with CRM software, preferably HubSpot * Demonstrated leadership potential * Regular UK travel * This role offers a clear path to develop and manage your own sales function
