We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RE Teacher to cover a long-term sickness absence at a well-established secondary school in Halton. This role is full time

Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring full engagement and student progress.
* Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
* Tracking and reporting on student progress and providing feedback to both students and parents.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Religious Education or a related subject.
* Previous experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* Strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum and examination requirements (e.g., GCSE and BTEC).
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.
* Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference.
* Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure.
