Advanced Social Work Practitioner - Bromsgrove Area Adults Team
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the role of Advanced Social Work Practitioner within the Bromsgrove Area Adults Team. This diverse role offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. We are proud of the work we do in our friendly and supportive team, covering Bromsgrove and surrounding villages such as Alvechurch, Barnt Green, Rubery, Wythall, and Hollywood.
Working alongside another ASWP colleague, you will manage the day-to-day operational duties of the Bromsgrove Area Team. This includes supervisory responsibilities and providing expert, consultative support in delivering the strengths-based Social Work model. The team is committed to learning and development, regularly hosting reflective sessions to enhance knowledge and practice, and welcoming students.
Our team collaborates with safeguarding, finance, health, providers, and housing partners to support service users. We offer ongoing support and training to develop management skills, including weekly peer meetings and opportunities to participate in project groups focused on policy and practice development. This is a chance to shape services within Worcestershire County Council.
If you are seeking more responsibility, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to continue safeguarding adults of all ages, this could be the role for you.

You will need a professional social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS) or another social work qualification certified by Social Work England. Whether you have management experience or are looking to develop your leadership skills, this role is ideal for an experienced Social Worker aiming to progress in their career.
