Description
* Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for the Trust
* Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational planning.
* Monitor financial compliance and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
* Provide financial analysis and insights to aid strategic decision-making.
* Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability.
* Work closely with department heads to ensure budget adherence and cost control.
* Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
* Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Manager/Management Accountant should have:
* A professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA )or Qualified by experience in a Multi-academy Trust)
* Proven experience in management accounting or financial manager roles
* Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Office based, some hybrid working available.
* Office is in Berkshire triangle Reading/ Slough/ Maidenhead
