Receptionist and Admin Assistant
Pay & Hours
Pay Scale: Band B6 plus SEN allowance (£24,740 actual)
37hrs per week (Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm; Friday 8am – 3.30pm)
45.8 weeks per year (1 extra paid week after 5 years of service)
The Role
We are seeking to appoint a receptionist and admin assistant to join our busy admin team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fast‑paced office environment and will be committed to being part of a school promoting an inclusive and positive environment for children with a variety of special needs.
The Trust
In March 2025 Treetops School was judged by Ofsted to have maintained the standards identified at the previous inspection. The previous inspection was in February 2020, at which time Treetops was judged as Outstanding. Treetops Free School, which officially opened in September 2022, was judged Good in its first Ofsted inspection in March 2024.
Students throughout Treetops Learning Community have complex needs varying from moderate to severe learning difficulties, which may include speech and communication difficulties, autism and global developmental delay.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A calm, professional manner
* The ability to multi‑task and prioritise
* Strong organisational skills
* Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel
* The ability to work flexibly as part of a busy office team
