Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Location: Park Vet Group, Saffron Lane (1/6 Saturdays at Glenfield site)
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time
Hours: 25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday 8:00-19:00, Tuesday 8:00-13:00, Thursday 14:00-19:00 Friday 8:00-13:00. Bank holidays on a rota.
We are currently seeking a new receptionist to join our fantastic team here at Park Vet Group!
We would like to hear from candidates who are friendly, customer-focused and confident working in a busy environment.
The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Welcoming and registering new customers.
* Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care
* Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
* Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
* Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
* Taking payments
* Promoting offers and services
* Remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor’s behaviour.
Experience required:
* A minimum of 12 months’ experience dealing with customers in a customer facing role.
* Reception or Client Care experience
* Cash handling and till operation
* IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
* Knowledge of client-based computer system and using a multiple line software-based telephone system
* English and Maths GCSE and good general education
* Any form of client care/ Veterinary receptionist qualification
