Were recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS / Commercial Manager (Construction/Engineering) to join a globally recognised engineering business delivering projects across oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, process plant and heavy industrial sectors.
The Opportunity
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for the commercial and financial management of large-scale construction and engineering projects from early planning through to completion.
Youll work across industrial and chemical facilities, supporting cost control, procurement, contract administration and commercial strategy on technically complex projects.
This is a role with real visibility and influence, working closely with project and engineering teams across an international portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Full commercial ownership across construction and engineering projects
* Cost planning, forecasting and budget management
* Contract administration and commercial governance
* Management of variations, valuations and final accounts
* Subcontractor procurement and commercial management
* Preparation of commercial reports, CVRs and financial analysis
* Supporting project delivery teams with cost control and risk management
* Working across multiple projects within EMEA regions

What Were Looking For
* Strong experience as a:
o Senior Quantity Surveyor
o Quantity Surveyor
o Commercial Manager (Construction or Engineering)
* Proven background in:
o Construction cost management
o Contract administration
o Commercial project delivery
* Experience on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, civil engineering or energy projects
* Knowledge of:
o Cost estimating
o Procurement
o Variations and valuations
o Commercial reporting
* Strong commercial judgement, negotiation and communication skills
* Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* High attention to detail and financial accuracy
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel internationally as required
