About the role
On a 14/7 DS NS Roster up at our Iron Bridge Project, in this role, you will:
1. Carry out refuelling, shift servicing, and scheduled servicing of maintenance and plant & equipment in a safe, efficient and timely manner
2. Assist trades people in the washing, servicing, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and associated components as directed.
3. Ensure lubricant sampling is carried out in accordance with Thiess Environmental and Safety Management Systems
4. Ensure the re-fuelling of plant and equipment is carried out in a timely, safe, and environmental manner with strict compliance with site safety tagging and fire procedures
5. Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of machinery / equipment non-conformance, identify and record any machinery / equipment quality problems.
6. Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins and Thiess Quality Controlled (QA) service documentation
7. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
About you
8. Experience in servicing and and refuelling large mobile plant mining equipment
9. Experience in operation on highway service truck
10. Current HR drivers licence preferred
11. You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
