Clinical Lead Nurse - Edinburgh Clinical Lead Nurse Nursing - Gilmerton Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: 23.00 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 38.5 Clinical Lead Nurse - Gilmerton Care Home 23.00 per hour Contracted to 38.5 hours per week One day supernumerary, or as required Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) About the Role As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will take responsibility for clinical governance, staff support, training, supervisions, and maintaining the highest standards of care. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams, oversee care planning, support audits and compliance, mentor staff, and act as a key point of contact for families and external professionals. Your leadership ensures every resident receives safe, person-centred, and high-quality care, while fostering a supportive environment where the team can grow and develop. What We're Looking For Qualified Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN Solid clinical experience, ideally in a care home or similar setting Confident in leading others and making clinical decisions Strong understanding of regulatory standards Passionate about developing and supporting your team About You You are a natural leader with excellent communication skills and a calm, professional approach.
