Summary
We’re looking for someone with great people skills, who loves to inspire and delight by providing top-quality experiences for visitors, to join us as a Senior Visitor Experience Officer at Lyveden. This role supports the Operations Manager in making sure everything runs smoothly in what is a complex and lively visitor business.

Lyveden is a small property, with a small team of staff and dedicated volunteers all working together to provide great experiences for our visitors. You'll need to be someone that's willing to help out with setting up activities and events, prepared to cover Visitor Reception when needed and able to bring people together to help support the visitor programme. As it's primarily an outdoors site, you'll need to be up for working in all weathers too!
What you'll be doing
You'll line manage the Visitor Experience Officer, and the Welcome Team. Supporting both teams in delivering the visitor programme and delivering their targets. You'll be responsible for devising and delivering the visitor programme collaborating with the whole property team on what this looks like. You'll also be responsible for the volunteers associated with these departments.
At Lyveden we are part way through a large access project, improving access around the site, you'll be involved in delivering this and how the visitor experience and interpretation is delivered as part of this project.
You will support the Property Operations Manager on ensuring high standards of visitor experience and presentation are met across the site. You will also support them with the social media and marketing of Lyveden.

5. confident that you can deal with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations
6. flexible, yet with a focus on always giving high standards of customer service
7. used to working with and supervising volunteers
