Responsible to Head Baker
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Baker to support the daily operations of a busy bakehouse. his role is ideal for someone with baking experience who takes pride in producing high-quality products and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Producing breads, traybakes, cakes, scones, desserts etc
2. Preparing and mixing doughs, batters, and pastries
3. Following recipes and production methods accurately
4. Baking products and using ovens
5. Maintaining consistency and quality of all products
6. Supporting general bakery operations and cleanliness
7. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
Essential
8. Previous experience in a bakery or similar food production environment
9. Good knowledge of baking processes and techniques
10. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
11. Good time management and organisational skills
12. Strong attention to detail and quality
13. Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
14. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Desirable
15. Formal baking or culinary qualification
16. Experience using commercial bakery equipment
17. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations ( HACCP)
18. Passion for baking and the Creative Gardens Food Co brand
