Location: Grays, Essex
Salary: Up to GBP 26,365 (Actual Salary)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Working Pattern: Term Time Only

Local Education are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Grays seeking an experienced Attendance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Attendance Officer, Family Liaison Officer, Pastoral Officer, or School Administrator with experience in attendance to join a supportive school community.
The successful candidate will play a key role in improving student attendance and punctuality by working closely with students, families, staff and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
. Monitoring and tracking attendance data
. Managing attendance procedures and interventions
. Liaising with parents and carers regarding attendance concerns
. Producing attendance reports for senior leaders
. Supporting strategies to improve attendance across the school
. Working with external agencies where appropriate
Requirements:
. Previous attendance experience within a school setting
. Strong communication and relationship:building skills
. Excellent organisational skills
. Confidence using school MIS systems
. Ability to work effectively with students, families and staff
