ReeVR Talent is proud to be exclusively partnered with Gulmay Ltd, a global leader in high-voltage power supply systems, to recruit a driven and technically strong Engineering Manager to lead their UK engineering team.
The Role:
As Engineering Manager, you will be pivotal in driving R&D and product development, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure engineering output aligns with commercial goals. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team covering electronics, embedded firmware, and mechanical design, delivering innovative, high-quality products for the high-voltage industry.
Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager:
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse UK engineering team across R&D and sustaining functions
Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and to-scope delivery
Review and approve product designs, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance
Collaborate across teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction
Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development to team members
Work with supply chain and external partners to support manufacturing
Key Experience & Skills of the Engineering Manager:
Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
Degree-qualified in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
Strong understanding of product development lifecycle – concept to production
Experience in high-voltage design or X-ray systems is highly desirable
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Commercially aware, innovative, and able to balance multiple priorities
