Position Overview

As an Overage, Shortage & Damages Team Member, you will be part of the team that manages the proper disposition of damaged and returned product. You will receive over-shipments and damaged product from customers and the warehouse and repack the salvageable product.

* Earn $21.00 per hour
* Shift : 2nd Shift - Sunday - Thursday
* Hours - 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
* Location - 95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield, MA
You will contribute by:
* Managing the proper processing of damaged and returned product
* Receiving over-shipments and damaged product from customers and the warehouse to repack what is salvageable
* Stacking product that cannot be sold to the customers on a pallet, shrink wrapping and loading on a trailer to be shipped to another facility
* Maintaining record of returned products from inbound trailers
* Keeping work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product
* Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
* Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
What’s a great way to stay in shape?
* Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
* Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
* Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
* Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
* Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
* Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
