Internal Sales Team Leader - Cabling and Accessories
The Role: Our client is a major name within the cable manufacturing and accessories industry and are looking to onboard a new Internal Account Manager with responsibility of leading 2 other internal team members in the Tetbury office. Based daily in the office, the role will see you selling a large portfolio of cables, lugs, glands, ties etc for a number of different applications such as renewable energy, rail networks and security industries.
The Internal Sales Team Leader will be targeting a customer base of both regional and national electrical wholesalers working with Branch Managers, Owners and Buyers. This is a fast paced and sometimes technical sales role, providing support to customers, looking to open new customers and providing quotes, pricing and customer service support when needed. An understanding of electrical and cabling would be a huge advantage but candidates with a strong internal sales background in other industries is also fine.
The Internal Manager will be responsible for driving sales with outbound and inbound call KPIS as well as motivating and leading the more junior members of the team - giving feedback, call coaching, monitoring KPIs and targets will be a key part of the daily duties. They will be supported by an in-house technical support team and a National Account Manager and work closely with the external sales reps on a daily basis to provide leads, pricing info and insight. This role will see you conducting new business development 40% of your time and managing existing projects 60%.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
· Have experience either working internally, in a branch/office selling over the phone and Teams to customers.
· Electrical bias, has worked in branch for an electrical wholesaler or has been selling to electrical wholesalers
· Can demonstrate a track record in cold calling, handling enquiries, providing quotes and leading meetings on Teams.
· A team player, can motivate others, set an example, hard worker and go getter attitude
· Professional in approach
· Full & Clean Driving license
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 basic salary + 10 %bonus+ 22 days holiday + pension scheme + Healthcare scheme
