C&B Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a highly reputable and busy Commercial Vehicle Service Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a well-established group that offers competitive salaries, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

HGV Technician Role and Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, LGVs, and commercial vehicles
* Carry out diagnostic checks and fault-finding using dealer-approved diagnostic tools
* Complete all work to manufacturer standards and in line with Health & Safety regulations
* Accurately complete service documentation and job cards
* Liaise with Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure efficient workflow
* Conduct pre-MOT inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
HGV Technician Requirements:
* Level 3 qualified in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds) essential
* Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Truck Technician essential
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
* HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable but not essential
* Full UK Driving Licence essential
* A reliable, team-focused individual with a professional and proactive attitude
