By joining our Sense Scotland team in Ellon you'll make a real difference every day.
Our friendly teams in Ellon are dedicated to empowering adults with complex needs to live as independently and joyfully as possible. We support individuals with a range of needs, including epilepsy, autism, Angelman syndrome, and learning disabilities, across two welcoming multi‑occupancy homes — one supporting three people and the other supporting two.
What your new role looks like
As a Support Worker with Sense Scotland, you’ll provide person‑centred, high‑quality care tailored to each individual. Every day brings variety, purpose, and the chance to build meaningful relationships.
Your support will include:
1. Personal care
2. Medication management
3. Finance support
4. Social and leisure activities
5. Household tasks
6. Promoting independence and wellbeing
Because the people we support enjoy a wide range of activities in the community, a driving licence is essential for this role.
Shift Patterns
To provide consistent and flexible support, you’ll work a mix of the following shifts:
7. 8:00am – 10:00pm
8. 8:00am – 8:00am (includes sleepover)
9. 7:00am – 9:30pm
10. 8:00am – 3:30pm
We also offer 5-hour activity shifts, usually 9:30am – 2:30pm, with occasional later times depending on planned activities.
Why join us?
You’ll be part of a warm, supportive team where your contribution truly matters. If you’re compassionate, motivated, and ready for a rewarding role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect fit.
