We're working with one of Southampton's most reputable accountancy firms, known for its supportive culture, strong client relationships, and commitment to career development. They're looking for a Corporate Tax Specialist to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients
* Liaise with HMRC and assist junior staff, ensuring high-quality work
* Identify and address internal control weaknesses, providing actionable recommendations
* Engage with clients' senior executives and update firm executives
* Supervise project planning, execution, and finalisation
* Prepare and review working papers, providing training and coaching
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading client relationships and delivering high-quality tax advice
* Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
* Liaising with HMRC and senior client stakeholders
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and client value
* Getting involved in planning, execution, and finalisation of projects
What We're Looking For
* ATT or CTA part-qualified or fully qualified
* Strong corporate tax experience in practice
* Confident communicator with a client-first mindset
* Someone who enjoys mentoring and collaborative working
