Head Office: Payroll Administrator
Hours: 16 hours per week (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Must have a minimum of two years of payroll experience in a practice or bureau setting.
Runwood Homes is a family-led provider of residential, dementia, and nursing care, with over 74 homes and day centres across England and Northern Ireland. We are seeking a Payroll Administrator for our professional, busy, and friendly payroll department.
You will join a supportive payroll team of 8 members.
The team manages weekly payroll for over 5,000 staff members, so attention to detail, accuracy, numeracy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparation and submission of payrolls of varied frequencies and sizes, from start to finish.
* Checking payroll summaries for accuracy.
* Maintaining holiday and absence records.
* Completing payroll reports.
* Processing starters and leavers.
* Knowledge of statutory payments.
Benefits include:

- Excellent Excel skills required.
- Experience with Opera Payroll is preferred but full training will be provided.
- Comprehensive experience of all payroll aspects.
The working hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexibility for additional hours during peak times such as bank holidays, sickness, holidays, and year-end processing.
