Category Manager - Procurement
Join our team as a Category Manager, leading sourcing activities within your specific area of spend. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to source requirements from new and existing vendors through contract renewals, extensions, amendments, and competitive multi-vendor processes using our procurement tools. You will work independently to establish your pipeline of work, determine the best routes to market, and align with the TalkTalk roadmap.
The Team
TalkTalk Procurement manages third-party spend across the consumer unit. We are a small, dynamic, and busy team divided by key categories of indirect and direct spend. We often find the best opportunities through collaboration, focusing on priorities that add the most value to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all procurement projects within your assigned category.
* Conduct comprehensive spend and budget reviews.
* Plan and maintain a pipeline for all requirements.
* Utilize and update procurement engagement trackers, contract databases, and sourcing tools relevant to your spend area.
* Apply category management principles with a focus on priorities.
