We are currently seeking for Registered Nurse with over 2 years Scrub/Scout theatre nurse experience and/or anaesthetic theatre experience to join our team for our new Night Shift. Occasional rotations on to day shift may be required for the period of orientation and to achieve annual mandatory competency requirements.

This is a recruitment pool for night Permanent Full Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Permanent Part Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Part Time appointments will be made the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Part Time appointment will be considered with a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight ( FTE).
This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:
1. The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis.
2. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
3. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30 June 2026.
What is our Registered Nurse role in OPH Theatres?
We are seeking applications from experience and enthusiastic Obstetric/Gynaecology and General Theatre experience and Anaesthetic Theatre experienced Registered Nurses to provide high quality operating theatre nursing care at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH), in a supportive and collaborative team environment. PACU experience is mandatory requirements for the applicant. Our team of theatre nurses at OPH work within a multidisciplinary team of health professionals supporting a patient's journey across scrub / scout and anaesthetic nursing.
This position is to support Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) Obstetric emergency activity with possibility to expand in the future to Surgical specialities. OPH is undergoing significant expansion, including additional Theatres, Birth Suites, Inpatient wards, increased Neonatal Unit, and a High Dependency Unit to be built.
