Job Title: Supply Teacher

Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day

GSL Education is seeking flexible and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety in the classroom, supporting students across different subjects and year groups, and making a real impact in their learning.

The secondary schools we work with provide engaging and inclusive learning environments, where staff collaborate to maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour. Supply teachers are welcomed as key contributors to student progress and classroom management, providing continuity and support for students in the absence of permanent staff.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage student behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment. You will support students’ academic progress, engagement, and confidence while providing vital classroom cover for absent teachers.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver lessons and activities according to teacher plans across a range of subjects
• Support students in maintaining focus and engagement throughout the lesson
• Maintain classroom discipline and a safe learning environment
• Monitor and provide feedback on student progress as appropriate
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity and support student learning
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience
• Experience teaching in a secondary school environment is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive approach to supporting students and staff
