We have a fantastic opportunity for you to become part of our SAP Functional team and play a key role in an exciting transformation programme as we move from SAP Business Client to SAP S/4HANA.
We’re already live with S/4 for Procurement and Finance and over the next 12–24 months, we’ll be rolling out Supply and Retail. This is a major transformation, and your involvement in the project will be ongoing as we shape the future of our systems.
As a key member of the team, you’ll ensure we deliver a solution that’s fit for the future. You’ll also be responsible for driving future enhancements to the system, helping Greggs maintain a competitive edge.

About the role
17. Core office hours are Monday to Friday, we operate a rota to cover out of hours on call support for major incidents, which currently is 1 week in 8.
18. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
19. The base location for this role is Innovate House, Newcastle upon Tyne
What you'll do
Reporting to the Functional Manager, you will be responsible for:
20. Working with business stakeholders, system integrators and other IT teams to deliver a best in class business solution
21. Configuring S4/H and ensure all solutions are fully documented and continue to be updated
22. Trouble-shooting issues that might arise and taking ownership through to finding and implementing a resolution
23. Working with our test team to ensure any solutions are fully tested
24. Building and maintaining good working relationships with business stakeholders at all levels
About you
You will fit right into this role if you have:
25. S4H Procurement experience, or an IT background.
26. Procurement experience including but not limited to Scheduling Agreements, Contracts, Subcontracts, and standard Purchase Order processes.
27. Ability to problem solve, and bring issues to a resolution.
28. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
29. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
30. An ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure.
31. Strong planning and organisational skills.
32. Effective team player and able to deliver clear individual goals.
