Job Description:
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Burner to join our team on various busy construction/demolition sites with a local reputable contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, burning, and dismantling steel structures safely and efficiently as part of our on-site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform oxy-fuel cutting and burning of steel and metal components
* Prepare materials and equipment for daily operations
* Work safely within site guidelines and follow all HSE regulations
* Assist with demolition, site clearance, and fabrication tasks
* Maintain tools and ensure equipment is in good working order
* Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Burner or similar position
* Valid CSCS card (Essential)
* Burning/Cutting certification (preferred)
* Strong understanding of health & safety standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* PPE (Essential)
