Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records
* Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other team members
* Contribute to the setup, design, and organisation of new rooms and learning areas
* Support the nursery's vision and journey with The Curiosity Approach
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS statutory frameworks
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing in all children
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
* A minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
* Experience working in an early years setting
* Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development
* A genuine passion for early childhood education
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability, flexibility, and a can-do attitude
Desirable:
* Experience with or knowledge of The Curiosity Approach
* Paediatric First Aid qualification
* Safeguarding training
* Experience in setting up or designing learning environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.40-£12.75 per hour
