Senior Accountant Location: Swindon Salary: £35,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexitime Free parking Life insurance On-site parking Job description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Client Support Manager. This role encompasses various responsibilities including preparing accounts for limited companies, serving as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, supervising junior staff, advising/training clients on bookkeeping software, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of accounts for limited companies, including complex cases, involving client liaison throughout the process. Acting as the Client Support Manager for a portfolio of clients, establishing strong relationships and providing in-house support. This may involve preparing/checking VAT Returns, Income Tax Returns, and engaging in tax planning discussions. Supervising junior/less experienced staff, offering technical guidance and training in accounts preparation, tax, and VAT returns. Advising and training clients on bookkeeping software, particularly Xero, and other relevant tools. Providing on-the-job training and supporting staff through professional exams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Requirments: Several years’ experience in practice, with a focus on preparing accounts for small businesses (up to £7m turnover). Chartered or Certified qualification preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in assisting or training other staff.
