As our Freedom of Information Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering a proactive, high-quality service that ensure transparency and compliance under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Working within our fast-paced Information Management Department, you’ll guide a skilled team, collaborate across multiple business units and influence how critical information is shared with the public and partners.
What you’ll be doing:
✅Process requests for the disclosure of information
✅Asses complex information, undertake risk assessment, provide detailed rationale
✅Provide training and coaching support to the team and wider force
Salary: £42,612 - £50,949
☑️Experience of preparing evidence-based reports
☑️Experience of identifying, understanding and applying legislation and case law
☑️Able to problem solve and resolve complaints
