Job Description

* Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of technology-related agreements, including software licensing, SaaS, and outsourcing contracts.
* Provide legal advice to clients on intellectual property, data privacy, and commercial technology issues.
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of technology transactions.
* Manage and oversee deals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and client requirements.
* Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions involving technology assets.
* Offer strategic advice to clients on technology-related regulatory developments.
* Support business development activities by contributing to thought leadership and client training sessions.
* Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and a solutions-driven approach.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate, Technology Transactions should have:

* A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and must be admitted, and in good standing, to the California bar.
* Proven expertise in technology transactions, including client-facing experience.
* The ability to independently manage and run deals from start to finish.
* Strong knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, and technology law.
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Competitive base salary in the range of $225,000 to $435,000, depending on the candidate's JD year, plus eligibility to receive an annual bonus.
