Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of corporate accounting across Europe (UK & Ireland focus), playing a key role in reporting, controls, and business partnering.
* Lead monthly financial reporting with clear variance analysis
* Oversee operating costs, including payroll, and provide insights to FP&A
* Manage VAT and compliance reporting (UK & Ireland)
* Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and business planning
* Own audit processes and act as key contact for external auditors
* Review balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial controls
* Drive process improvements and enhance reporting quality
* Lead and develop a small international team
What's required
* Proven experience in a similar role within a multi-entity, international business
* Strong technical accounting knowledge (ideally within real estate)
* Experience in compliance, including VAT preparation and submission
* Experience in payroll accounting
* Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
