Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and providing support for month-end close and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience working with ledgers, journals, and other financial systems. They will also possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase and sales ledgers.
* Reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Providing support for month-end close and financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
* Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and payroll tasks.
Requirements:
* AAT part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent) certification.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance role.
* Experience working with SAGE 200 is highly desirable.
* A sharp eye for detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
