Your Role:
As Team Leader, youll support the Registered Manager in shaping and delivering this innovative service. Youll:
* Lead and manage shifts, making key decisions in real time.
* Supervise and inspire a team of Residential Workers.
* Champion trauma-informed, relational care practices.
* Take the lead in planning, recording, and reviewing care.
* Help shape a culture of aspiration, dignity, and unity.
What Youll Bring:
* Significant experience in residential childcare.
* A Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
* A passion for making a difference and a mindset that embraces challenge and change.
What Youll Get:
* Basic salary: £32,597 - £36,363 (starting salary based on experience)
* Enhancements: Earning potential up to £5,000 extra for sleep-ins, unsociable hours, and overtime
* Sleep-in rate: £41.78 per night
* Annual leave: 27 days + bank holidays (rising to 32 days after 5 years)

Removal and Lodgings
Removal, lodging and separation expenses may be available to the successful candidate if at the time of application for appointment their place of residence is outside the administrative area of County Durham and more than 30 miles in a straight line from their new administrative centre, along with several other criteria for eligibility.
