Bookkeeper (Technician) – Outsourced Finance – Taunton or Yeovil
The role
Our Outsourced Finance team allows businesses to outsource many of their financial functions, including bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns.
We’re seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our well-established and supportive team, based in our Taunton or Yeovil office.
In this role, you will maintain records and prepare VAT returns for a portfolio of SME clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
What we need from you
Ideally, you will:
* Be AAT part-qualified or qualified
* Have proven bookkeeping experience
* Have a strong understanding of VAT and bookkeeping principles
* Be proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero
* Be a confident and collaborative team player
* Offer excellent customer service and people skills
* Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
* Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
